Dr. Fred Chia-Chun Hung, age 91, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on Wednesday December 27, 2017. Dr. Hung taught at the University of Hawaii in the Economics Department and the East West Center from 1960 to 1987. He loved teaching at UH and believed that education was a great social equalizer. He spent his life advocating for opportunities for his students’ professional development.
To this end, we are asking that in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations by writing a check payable to: UH Foundation
