Gabriel “Gabby” Taparra, 68, of Honolulu, a former auto body specialist and a Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by brothers Fidel “Biggie” Jr., Raphael “Benny,” Gerard “Shakey” and Benedict “Ben”; and sisters Luz Josephine De Silva and Joan Caberto.
