On November 15, 2020 George W. L. Krueger III went to be with the Lord after a brief illness. He was born on September 14, 1933 in Los Angeles, California. George served in the US Air Force for 20 years in Iceland, New York, California (where he served in Viet Nam), Georgia, and finally in Hawaii at Camp Smith, where he retired. George then had a second career with the City of Honolulu in the office of Corporation Counsel at Honolulu Hale. George is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Hazel and his only sibling Charles, Jr. George is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan. He is also survived by his children, Joi (Ken) Uyeda of Bastrop, Texas; George (Leona) Krueger IV of Dripping Springs, Texas; Jerri (Larry) Bartlett of Hot Springs, Arkansas and his step-son Eric (Jennifer) Moltzau of Broomfield, Colorado. George leaves behind seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He leaves a legacy of integrity, humility, a strong work ethic, faith in Jesus, and a love of travel. George will be interred with honors at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
