November 6, 1931 – August 5, 2026
Geraine Graff was born on November 6, 1931, in Pauoa Valley on the island of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. Over the course of her remarkable 94 years, she built a life centered around family, love, and the generations that followed her.
Lovingly and famously known as “Nani” to her grandchildren and their friends, and simply “Geri” to her friends and colleagues, she held a special place in the hearts of those who knew her. She was the proud mother of three children, grandmother to eight, great-grandmother to nine, and great-great-grandmother to one.
Geri spent many years with the United States Postal Service in Kailua, where she worked until her retirement. Above all, she treasured her family and loved bringing everyone together
through one of her greatest joys—cooking for those she loved.
Geraine passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, in Las Vegas, surrounded by her family. Her legacy lives on through her Faith in God, the generations she helped shape, the meals and traditions shared around her table, and the countless memories of the woman so many lovingly knew simply as Nani.
