Gertrude Somera Sistoza, 85, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on July 15th in Waipahu, Hawaii. Gertrude was a Linen Room Attendant at the Kahala Hotel and was born in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She is survived by her daughter, N. Joy Sistoza; brothers, Demetrio S. Somera, Andres S. Somera, and Cresencio S. Somera; sisters, Pacita S. Lopez, Juanita S. Pagaoa, and Clarita S. Labuni; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
Services will be held on August 3rd and August 4th. On August 3rd, visitation will begin at 5:00pm and service at 6:00pm at Borthwick Mortuary Mauka Chapel located at 1330 Maunakea Street in Honolulu. On August 4th, visitation will begin at 10:30am and service at 11:00am at St. Patrick Church located at 1124 7th Avenue in Honolulu with burial to follow at 1:00pm at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific located at 2177 Puowaina Drive in Honolulu.
