I always thought Holly's middle name was fitting.  She brightened our days like a ray of sunshine.  It is evident from the numerous postings that she continued to positively touch the lives of those she encountered near and far.  My prayers have been and will continue to be with Holly's family and friends.

The kind and happy person Holly was, I'm sure the one who made her, realized how special she was, to take her so early in life from a wonderful loving husband and family.  To her family, May you keep cherished memories ever close in your heart and soon be able to smile at the mention of her name. To Holly, May your spirit experience celestial peace and heavenly bliss.

I continue to think about and pray for all of Holly's family and friends.

Holly was one of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever met.  From 4th grade to graduation she was rarely without a smile.  My heart goes out to her family and those that were so close to her.  My prayers are with you all.

It was a true joy knowing Holly, and we will miss her adventurous spirit, kind heart, beautiful smile and love of life.  I had the good fortune to have travelled with her on several girls trips in recent years, our last one in Santa Fe, NM.  Holly was such fun to be with and always had her iPhone at the ready to lead us to our next adventure or give us information about the places we were visiting. I am so very sorry to hear the sad news.  I knew Holly through Tampa Prep, and especially enjoyed talking to her at book club.  We also compared planning notes since both of us were embarking on an adventure to a land far away.  My thoughts and prayers are for Bryan, their children and the rest of Holly's family.

It seams like yesterday when I waited to here that my Aunt Linda had a baby girl. I couldn't wait to hold her. I remember Grandma Alice and Aunt Linda placing a pillow under my arm for support because I didn't want to let her go. I remember staying at her home in Newport News and how she was always smiling and doing silly things to make us laugh.During that time, Aunt Linda popped a ginormous bowl of popcorn and we went to a Drive Inn Movie. I cannot remember what movie because Holly was so entertaining. She climbed back and forth over the seat and kept landing her head into the popcorn bowl. Then, I remember all of the exciting times babysitting Holly, Sarah, Dawn, Gregg, Karen, and David at the same time. Holly was great help and assisted me with keeping the peace. 
I remember when I gave birth to Lindsay and the amazement of Bryan and Holly holding a baby that was 20 minutes old. I could go on and on. However, my most cherished memory is spending this past Thanksgiving with her. I can close my eyes and we are at tea, walking around China Town laughing at the fish that is full of water. Then we are out on an adventure to the North Shore, exploring, going to the beautiful gardens. Holly love to talk about her family. She was so proud of them. She was the Best of Moms. I want to live by her example as one who always sees the glass half full . She will always be my Princess Diana, a Queen of Hearts. ~ Kandy

Seeing the picture of Holly in her wedding gown brings to mind one of my favorite stories about her wedding.  A beautiful wedding in a church built during colonial times.  A reception at Dam Neck that was a fun filled celebration that included good food and lots of dancing.  My daughter Kelly told me that Holly told the disc jockey that she did not want him to play the Electric Slide.  To play a trick on holly I told her at the reception that I was looking forward to doing the Electric Slide.  I did not know how to do it.  I am in the bathroom and I hear over the intercom Tommy McMillan report to the dance floor to do the Electric Slide.  I rushed in and got in line and faked it.  This showed how sweet Holly was. She didn't want to hear the Electric Slide but she wanted me to enjoy my self so much that she had them play it just for me.  I knew right then that she loved me and wanted to make me happy.  That was Holly my pleasure was more important to her than what she wanted.  We will miss you Holly.

Holly was such a wonderful person, her kindness and generosity of spirit was something I always admired.  She will be greatly missed.  My thoughts are with her family.

Holly for the time I knew you, It was easy to see you were just as sweet as they could be. Such a proud mom and wife. I remember seeing you across the street and always with your children. It was March of 2001 when I first met Holly....Ty, Jake, Bryan....Alli came later. What started out as a job, quickly turned into a real friendship. A huge hole has been created in so many lives that no one can ever fill like she did. Holly, you will be missed more than you could ever have known! Holly was a kind and generous friend.  She always had great advice and the most creative ideas.  I was inspired by the way she lived her life to the fullest, and the fun experiences she created for her kids. I wish we could have had more time with her.  I will miss you, Holly.
