He was born in Hinunungan, Leyte, Philippines on April 16, 1918. Ignacio Liguid Tangog was a farmer.
He is survived by son, Ignacio Tangog Jr.; daughters, Nenita Lomongo, Delia Tangog, Evelyn Autida, Juliet Ballesteros; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Borthwick Mortuary – Maunakea Chapel at 1330 Maunakea Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817 on Monday, April 22, 2013. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM. Service will be at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744, on Monday April 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
