

‘IWALANI MARIE DELLATAN SNIFFEN, of Waipahu, passed away suddenly on February 24, 2013 at the young age of 30. She was born on January 2,1983, and lived a short full life. She was an Ambulance Dispatcher at American Medical Response.
Iwalani spent most of her life between two hometowns of Waipahu and Kailua and was a graduate of Kailua High School c/o 2001 where she was a member of the Kailua Girls Basketball Team and numerous Clubs.
She is survived by her 9-year old son Alexsander Namakakaiao’okekai Litaea-Sniffen “Kaiao”, father Joseph S. Sniffen, mother Janice C. Kahumoku (Keali’i), brother Kekoa J.D. Sniffen (Kaulana) of Las Vegas, NV, sister Hi’ilei A. Sniffen, Step-Mother Deanna Sniffen, Step-Siblings Mandy Phan (Thai), Niko Malana, Mailene Malana, Golden Kahumoku, Sterling Kahumoku, Bronze Kahumoku; paternal Great-Grandfather Joseph Pellerin, paternal Grandmother Marie L. Sniffen, paternal Grandfather Patrick H. Sniffen (Maggie) of Maui, maternal Grandparents Edilberto “Beans” & Gertrude “Inday” Dellatan; nephews Kanoa Heffernan-Sniffen, Kuha’o Heffernan-Sniffen, Ethan Phan, Logan Phan, Nevan Malana, and niece Naia Malana; She is the niece of Donna “Waianuhea” Victorino (George Ali’i); Patrick Dellatan, Michael Dellatan, Rowena Santos (Dwayne), Sharmane Esteban (John), Avery Sniffen, Dwayne Sniffen, and Sharlinda Wilmington (Curtis), and numerous Aunties, Uncles, and cousins.
