James Patrick Conway

We are sad to announce that on Sunday December 24, 2023, our dad, James Patrick Conway passed away at his residence in Honolulu, HI.

Born March 8, 1947, he was raised in Pearl City, HI and attended Maryknoll High School. After Attending Honolulu Community College, he worked at Tripler Army Medical center for over 30 years and retired from federal service in 2014.

He is survived by his children James Patrick Jr. (Gwen), Lisa Spencer (Aaron), Kanoelehua Serrano (John), grandchildren Jordan Namahoe, Zachary and Zoe Spencer, Ocean Serrano, and great grandchildren Jordyn and Jhourney Namahoe, Adeline and Lorelei Spencer.

James was preceded in death by his parents Richard Conway, Loretta Conway-Watanabe, step father Ed Watanabe and older brother Peter Bertulfo.

He leaves behind younger siblings sister Jaymesana, Michael and Timothy (Edith)

He will be remembered for his goofy laugh, easy going manner and the way he was quick to make a joke in order to bring easy smile to anyone’s face.

Son, brother, husband, dad, and grumpa. These are some of the titles you have held over your lifetime. You shared so much of yourself, taught us so many lessons, were loved in life, and will be missed and cherished in your passing.
