Dr. Joseph Gabriel Morelli Jr.

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Joseph G. Morelli, Jr., who departed this life on May 24, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on September 28, 1953, grew-up in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia, PA. Joseph was a beacon of knowledge, compassion, touching the lives of countless individuals throughout his distinguished life.

Joseph was the beloved son of the late Anna Marie Morelli (nee Cetrone) and Joseph G. Morelli, Sr., whose values and love shaped the remarkable man he became. As a loving brother, he leaves behind his brother Anthony Morelli and his wife Carol, and his sisters Joanne Morelli Besden, who was predeceased by her husband Mark, and Lucille Morelli-Vine and her husband Ben. His legacy also lives on through his beloved nieces and nephews: Anthony, Jason, Samantha, Lisa, and Max, each of whom he loved dearly and many other family and friends alive and passed.

A man of great intellect and dedication, Joseph pursued a path of learning and healing, earning his education from esteemed institutions. He graduated from St. Thomas More High School and went on to further his studies at St. Joseph's University. Driven by a passion for health and wellness, he completed his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1978 and moved to Hawaii laying the foundation for a career that would bring relief and comfort to many.

Dr. Morelli devoted his professional life to the field of chiropractic care, where his expertise and genuine care for his patients' well-being earned him the respect and admiration of his community. Joseph's spirit and skilled hands were a source of solace and empowerment to those who sought his care.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Joseph was a man of quiet strength, whose life was enriched by the simple joys of family and friendship. Joseph was an excellent cook, learning from both his Italian grandmothers. His kindness, humor, and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

In remembering Joseph, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and a life that inspired those around him to be better, to care more, and to love deeply. Though he has departed from this earthly realm, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Dr. Morelli will be laid to rest at Diamond Head Memorial Park, Garden of Peace, Alcove 6, niche AF-7. In accordance with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Joseph's life. As we gather in spirit to commemorate his journey, we find solace in the knowledge that he is now reunited with his beloved parents, watching over us.
