The first time I ever remember meeting Josephine was when I went to Oahu for my daughter Debbie and her son John's wedding. I believe it was April 1985.  Josephine and other family met me at the airport and placed several leis around my neck as a welcome to Hawaii.  She was a very sweet and pleasant lady and loved all of her family very much.  
                         "There is no other love like a Mother's love"                                    I know that she will be missed by all of you. 
I send my deepest sympathy to all of Josephine Sopena Baguio Erice's family.  Just remember she's  sitting up there in the heavens looking down and watching over all of you as your Guardian Angel.

Grandma you will be missed. I have so many wonderful memories coming to your house and spending time with you. You will always be in my heart and thoughts. Family you are also in my thoughts and I love you all ❤️❤️❤️

I never got to meet my Grandma Erice  but the pictures and story's I have heard about her I knew she was the most prettiest person in the world. She was a strong independent woman She had so many amazing kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She will be looking down at all of her family 24/7

I would just like to give my heart felt condolences to the entire family of Josephine.  She truly was one of the best mothers, grandmothers and friends that anyone could ever know. She always showed so much love and graciousness to my daughter Jenni and to myself. Your family has been truly blessed to have her in your life for all of these years, I believe in the afterlife and feel that she will always be with all of you.

My mom and I were pretty close, but we got even closer after I became a mother. She understood my struggle as a single parent, and she did as much as she could to help me.  She was there for me whenever I had something to celebrate, and she was there for me when I experienced heartache.  I remember after I lost my son, my mom just held my hand. No words, just held my hand. That was so comforting to me, and in years to follow I would just hold her hand, no reason or words, I just wanted to hold her hand.  I held her hand for the last time today, as we had our final visit with her before cremation. Her beautiful hands, the ones that stroked my hair, or touched my face, or wiped away my tears... I miss you Mom, and I will forever love you.. ❤️

Your Mom was an amazing woman. Family was everything to her.  I admired her, and loved her.  I learned a lot from her about patience, kids, being a Mom and wife and truly what family is all about. Thinking of all of you at this time, and sending lots of Aloha your way, Debbie


I, unfortunately,  never got to know Mrs. Erice.
However, I've met her son John.  What a wonderful person she must have been.  Because her son is a very wonderful person.  
Its rate to hear a daughter-in-law speak so highly of their mother-in-law,  John's wife Debbie always speaks highly of Mrs. Erice.
My deepest condolences to all her friends and family.
