She was a retired Kawananakoa Employee.
She is survived by her husband, George C. Kawakami; son, Lyle Kawakami; daughters, Jasmine Chu, Shelley Smith, Patti Arakaki and Traci Kawakami;brothers, Charles Kim and Hans Goo; sister, Elizabeth Salis; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren
A Memorial Service will be held at Borthwick Mortuary - Mauka Chapel
