Kathleen Joyce Gomes

Joyce survived her deceased husband Emilio M. Gomes and brothers Ambrose M. Costa, Jr. and recently departed brother Gordon M. Costa.

Joyce’s surviving family members are her sister Charlotte June Perry, sister-in-law Helen Costa, seven nieces and nephews; thirteen grand nieces and nephews and ten great grand nieces and nephews. She was most happy when she was amongst her family. Joyce lived in Kalihi Valley, graduated from Farrington High School and worked 21 year at the Naval Exchange Warehouse at Pearl Harbor.

Services to celebrate “not that she died but that she lived and left the family with fond memories of her” will be held as follows:

On November 30, 2023 at: Borthwick Mortuary Mauka Chapel 1330 Maunakea St. Honolulu, HI 96817

Visitation: 9:30 am

Services: 10:00 am

Taken at 12:30pm to the National Memorial Cemetery at Punch Bowl to be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
