Kawika is survived by Mom Sarah Wāhilani & Dad Samuel Wāhilani Jr. Significant other Enike Bartley, and 8 children. His brothers; Joshua Kamai, Jon Bersabal, Wela Wāhilani, Kalei Wāhilani. His sisters Cheyenne-Ho’onani (Nani) Wāhilani, Kenui Wāhilani, Kiana Wāhilani, and his most favorite person; his baby sister Kapuʻu Wāhilani, many nieces and nephews as well. Kawika was also loved by his in-laws; Nicole Kamai, Nālei Bersabal & brother in-law Douglas Keliikuli. Kawika lived a perfectly imperfect life, and loved everyone in it. Lele loa ʻoe me ka Haku o kākou. We love you Kawika.

Our Kawika, there’s so many things that I could say to describe who you are, and how you moved in this world…but my most cherished memories are just of you being my big brother. We will be kissing you everyday. Your presence, your voice, your love, we will miss it. Thank you for ALWAYS being there for us🕊💙. I love you Kawika #LLKK

Kawika was a self taught musician who loved to sing he played ukulele, guitar, bass... and when he wasn't singing or playing music his other passion was cooking. Boy could he cook! He also make me brownies with cream cheese. We were all fans of his cooking. I will miss his infectious smile. Let's not forget what a heck of a mechanic he was too!
