LAVENDA IMAIKALANI “KEKAI’ “LOVEY” ROMAN, 82, of Aiea, passed away November 20, 2011 in Ewa Beach. Born January 29, 1929 in Hoolehua, Molokai, she was a homemaker and a kumu hula. She is survived by sons, Greg Roman, David Roman, Roderick “Buzzy” Roman and Deven “Kalani” Roman; daughters, LaVern Roman and Thaira “Tai” Roman; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation 10 a.m.-12 noon on Friday, December 9, 2011, at Borthwick Mortuary-Maunakea Chapel ; service 12 noon. Committal service 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire is requested.
