Leonard Leilani Silva, also known as “Buddy,” “Pops” and “Silva,” 88, of Waianae, a Matson shipping yard crane operator and an Army veteran, died in Waianae. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Georgianna Andrade-Silva; sons William Nalu Nohoanu, and Eugene Keka Silva, Lanny Butch Silva, Buddy Lee Mahalo Silva, Louis Kuaiwa Silva, James Kimo Silva and Sterling Nakuana Silva; daughters Lavren Honey Girl Silva and Vivian Williams, and Louise Wainee Silva; sisters Emma Natividad and Margaret Cummings; 24 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
