Leonora Javellana Chock of Honolulu, Hawai‘i, died on April 17, 2012, at the age of 85 at St. Francis Nuuanu Hospice. . Born on Dec. 15, 1926, in Kapahi, Kaua‘i, she was a retired pantry worker at the Sheraton Waikiki.
She is survived by her sons, Gary K. (Didi) Chock of Wailua, Kaua‘i, Lenox K. (Lei) Chock of Palolo, O‘ahu; daughters, Dale H. (Glenn) Ching of Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i, Juliana P.(Daryl)Uejo, Colleen M. (Jaime) Valdez of Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i, Monica P. (Bill) Carpenter of Palolo, O‘ahu; brothers, Jose Javellana of Kaneohe, O‘ahu, Aurelio (Gloria) Javellana of Pearl City, O‘ahu; sister, Conchita Javellana of Waimea, Kaua‘i; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Borthwick Mortuary Makai Chapel in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, on Friday, May 11, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Service to follow. Committal service at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl will be held at 11:30 a.m.
