Margaret was the youngest of 5 girls born to August and Augusta DeCorte. She was born at their home on Paki Ave, in Waikiki on October 17th, 1919. She attended Roosevelt High School, then met and married Lee M. Jordan in 1942. They have two children, daughter, Beverly 'BJ' Jordan and son, Walter A. Jordan. She is survived by two grandchildren, Patrick and Nicolette Jordan and two great-grand daughters, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many-many good friends.
Although she spent many years raising her family and keeping their home, she also worked for ten years at the Hale Aloha cafeteria at the University of Hawaii as a food service worker.
A lifelong Catholic, Margaret was a member of the Third Order of Mary and a parishioner of the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception in Ewa. Donations may be made in her name to the church.
