

"Akua" has called her home on May 14, 2011. Born September 13, 1935 at Ko'ele, Lana'i, daughter of (late) Ernest & Rebecca Richardson.
She retired as Head Custodian for Lana'i High & Elementary School. She is the Ohana geneologist of "piko" Kaopuiki-Richardson. Kapu-Nakoa and piha ohana stretched generations dated back to Ali'i's. Her knowledge of Names were a joy and the sharing of their stories that lit a path that intriqued others to know their lineage.
She is loved by Buddy Nakoa, Belinda (Roy) Nakoa-Patinio, Jonah Nakoa, Rebecca "Maile" Nakoa-Allin, Ernest Nakoa; 14 Grandkeiki's: Kehau, Kamea, Sunshine, Rainbow, Kaipo, Jared, Kuulei, Keoki (deceased), Starr, Kassandra, Shane, Harry, Shane and Krystal; 14 Great-Grandkeiki's, especially loved by Kealohaokekai; brother: Sonny "Hoss" Richardson (deceased); sisters: Charlotte (Pete) Holsomback, Hermina (Kit) Morita-Laney; Ohana: Noelani (Myles) (Kwon) Watanabe; uncles: Charlie Kwon, Koa Shin and Billy Kaopuiki; Hanai: Richard, Albert and Wallace Morita.
Visitation 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4th at United Gospel Fellowship in Mililani; Service 10:00 a.m..
Resting service will be held on Lanai' at Ko'ele and will be bedded at Lana'i Veterans Cemetery.
