I ran into your Mom and Dad today and was shocked to hear of your passing. But even though it had been years and years, as soon as I saw your Dad the name “Matt” popped into my head. That’s proof right there that you were a man who left a lasting impression. I’m not surprised you took such a hard job like firefighter. After all, once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy.

Matt you are my first born, I love you very much! You were taken to soon from us. I will miss your kisses and hearing your voice..telling me "I Love You Mom", I know you are in my heart as I am in yours FOREVER, I will miss you telling me how good dinner was when you came to pick up the boys, and how I made you shower before you went home..lol. I would even give you Kris's clothes to wear..but you would tell me MOM!..it don't fit can I use Dad's clothes..you know Matt that was funny. I know you are in Heaven taking care of Gramma as Gramma takes care of you to, don't worry about the Boys and Nola..they will be fine, because you are there always..I know the Lord needed you for his services now I just have to be patient and wait to see you again. I have so much more to write but as you know I always talk to you everyday and pray every night for you and Gramma..I love you, you made me and Dad VERY PROUD..you also made your brothers PROUD!..you always did what you wanted to do and did it very well!I Love You! Dearest Matt...for all what we have been through in our lives together through good, bad, hard and most of all that bond of love we shared together. You are my son, and I truly MISS YOU SO MUCH.  You are one of a kind and NO man, and I mean NO man can ever replace YOU or YOUR love we had for one another. I have a big hole in my heart that will never ever mend...my heart just feels empty right now because you were taken from us too soon.
