

A cherished and beloved woman, Misao carried herself with a gentle steadiness that brought comfort to those around her. Her thoughtful presence, patient spirit, and kind-hearted way of meeting the world left a lasting impression—one marked by compassion, quiet wisdom, and an ability to offer encouragement when it was needed most. Even in life’s ordinary moments, Misao’s warmth and subtle humor could lighten a room, reminding others to hold close what matters.
Misao was a devoted mother and a widow. She is survived by her daughters Pamela Cabebe, Cheryl Thomas, and Liann Dung, as well as her grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life, and her care for them was shown through steadfast love, gentle guidance, and the hard work she gave so freely.
In her working life, Misao served her community as a retired lunch lady at Ewa Beach Elemantary. In that role, her dedication was evident in the daily constancy of her service—work carried out with reliability, attentiveness, and a sincere regard for the people she supported.
Misao’s life reflected devotion, grace, and a spirit that could still hold curiosity and adventure. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
