Motoko Miyagi Young

In her younger days, she was energetic and strong-willed, taking her

responsibilities seriously and facing life with determination. Together with her husband, she traveled to many different countries and, until illness came later in life, enjoyed a rich and happy life filled with many blessings and memorable experiences.

I personally shared many meaningful memories with MOTOKO through the years we spent together. The meals we shared, the trips we took, and the moments of laughter remain precious memories in my heart.

In her later years, she faced a long and difficult illness. Those days were not easy, but with the support and care of many people around her, she continued to live with strength until the very end.

Life brings both joyful times and difficult seasons. Even so, the moments we share with one another and the connections we make remain with us forever.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who gathered here today, and to all those who supported and cared for MOTOKO throughout her illness.

Please keep MOTOKO in your thoughts and prayers, and may she rest in peace.

MOTOKOさんは、沖縄からハワイへと人生を歩み、仕事や家庭を支えながら、長い年月を懸命に生きてこられました。

若い頃は活発で行動力があり、仕事にも真面目に向き合い、多くの経験を重ねながら人生を築かれてきました。

ご主人と共に様々な国を旅し、病気になるまでは、多くの恵みと幸せに包まれた、豊かで充実した人生を過ごされたと思います。

私自身、MOTOKOさんと共に過ごした時間の中で、たくさんの思い出をいただきました。

一緒に食事をし、旅行をし、笑い合った日々は、今でも大切な記憶として心に残っています。

晩年は病気との闘いが続き、決して楽な日々ではなかったと思いす。

そのような中でも、多くの方々に支えられながら、最後まで精一杯生き抜かれました。

人生には、喜びの日もあれば、苦しい時期もあります。

それでも、人との出会いや共に過ごした時間は、かけがえのないものとして心に残り続けるのだと思います。

今日ここにお集まりくださった皆様、そして闘病生活を支えてくださった方々に、心より感謝申し上げます。

どうかMOTOKOさんが安らかでありますよう、心よりお祈りいただければ幸いです。
