Born and raised in Yonkers, New York, his roots trace back to his school days at Public School 14. He moved to Florida early in life before making Honolulu his home 35 years ago. He made a living selling and repairing espresso machines, taking pride in his trade. He cherished his independence and privacy, sharing his life with his rescued cat Kiki that he rescued from the Honolulu Humane Society. He had a meaningful bond with the select few he called friends. He faced physical challenges with grit and character. Bound to a wheelchair, he refused to stay put, navigating the streets of Chinatown on his scooter ”unmistakable with his New York "GOOMBA" plate leading the way. He mattered and he was loved.
He is survived by his sisters, Catherine and Cynthia, and his brothers, Leo, Dominick, and Guy.
