Norman was a good man to me and never treated me bad. He never raised his hand to me and always was there to support myself and his family. (When we first fell in love) He would call me "his peanut" and "dearest darling" through all the letters he'd write to me when he was in Texas serving in the army.   Love your wife

Papa whenever I sleep over your house you and grandma would feed me breakfast, lunch and dinner so that way I would not go to bed hungry. And papa you would always set up the blow up bed and the pillows and the blankets all nice so I can fill countable and whenever you had a fruit cup, you would always share it with me and when ever me and Tylee wanted something you would always get it for us like taking us to the park. I remember when I was young, when we were living in the house in pearl city, grandpa would take me every morning to a corner store and he would always buy ice pops and I still don't understand how he could stand me as a child because I was very very annoying, so I have to give him credit. He would always take me walking by the elderly homes and we always look at the fish in the pond and I guess I really liked fish because we would go there all the time. Also I remember every year for new years we would go outside, buy morning glory's and start a little fire on the road and I thought it was the coolest thing ever, so I got really sad when we had to move because I really like that place. My papa. A strong, determined, happy and joyful individual. No matter the problem or situation, weather it was cutting the grass and pulling weeds, to fixing the car, or even babysitting, rain or shine he'd always find a way to do it. From playing Portuguese horseshoe to sitting down and having a talk or even lending a hand, theirs things I've learned from him and that is to always stay strong, be happy, stay determined and never give up. My grandpa was a strong, loving, dedicated hard working family man who loved to help everyone.  He always did things from the kindness of his heart and never asked for payments in return.  My grandpa loved his yard and loved to work in everyone's yard.  He loved to fish and camp.  I will always remember my grandpa and what he did for me and our family.  He is always with me. My papa- a quiet man with a gentle soul and a heart filled of love. I remember those days when I was younger and would do the devils to my papa, but he never got upset or held it against me, but instead he showed me love. From taking and picking me up from high school every day, to washing my clothes and ironing them is a few things he did for me weekly. He never asked for anything except a hot fudge sundae from McDonalds or his ice blended from coffee bean. He was a big supporter in my life from when I was a store manager at coffee bean. he would show up to all our store openings; to me being a store director where he'd visit me at beretania and then at Ewa. He showed me that he is always there for family no matter what. Papa- my house is not a home with you not being here and I know you are no longer suffering and you are building us that dream house, landscaping the yard so when we meet again you'll take care of us up in heaven just like how you took care of us here. I not only owe you a million hot fudge sundaes or ice blendeds, but I owe you many thanks for guiding me in my life. Papa, I can always remember how as a little girl you would rub my forehead so I could fall asleep. I also remember how you were the king of the bowling game at fun factory! You and grandma would take us there and I remember waiting to hear 
the siren and watch all the tickets come out and then you would give us the tickets so we could get what we wanted. It's so you to always give and help everyone without expecting anything. I am so grateful to have had you as my grandfather and I will always remember the memories we've shared. I love and miss you always

I don't know what he is thinking of, but I know if he could tell me, he would say that he misses and love my dad a lot because he spent every second with my dad after he retired.  There was not one day he wasn't without my dad.  Daddy I love you and I want "COOKIES".  Love your son Norman Boy

My dad, a man of few words.  No matter what needed to be done or who needed help, he was always there to lend a hand.  My dad never said no to anything or anyone.  One of my memories about my dad was that he loved to fish, either by land or a boat.  Every time I told my father that I was going fishing on the boat or going camping and asked him if he wanted to go, he never hesitated to answer, he would always say yes.  I've learned a lot from my father and I have no regrets in what I did with my father, no matter how hard it was, I can at least say, my father thought me how to do that.  He made me who I am today, independent and a strong person.  I hope I can carry this on to my kids because this is priceless.  I love you dad and as I promised you on your last day with us, I will be there for mom and Norman boy.  Rest in peace. Love your daughter Joann
