Patricia Ann Rohlfing, 70, of Kula, Maui, passed away on Tuesday December 27, 2011 at Kuakini Medical Center. Born in Honolulu on September 28, 1941, she was a retired Travel Agent and Legal Secretary. She is survived by her beloved husband Senator Frederick “Fred” Rohlfing; daughters, Alice Newkirk and Michele M. Bond; step-sons Fritz Rohlfing and Karl Rohlfing; sister, Pamela Wong, cousins Audrey and Frank Santos of Pukalani; 6 grandchildren and a loving dog Koa.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2011 5:00 p.m. at The Community Church of Honolulu in Nuuanu.
Friends and family are also invited to a Celebration of Life in her honor to be held at Maui Country Club, 48 Nonohe St from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, January 14th
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s – P.O. Box 780, New York, NY 10008 or Hospice Maui.
