Patricia Ann Schutte, 74, of Kailua,Oahu, passed away September 13, 2016. Born in Michigan, she worked in Design and Construction Division for the City and County of Honolulu. She is survived by her husband John W. Schutte ;sons, Anthony Ching, Jerry Ching, and James (Liane) Ching; daughters, Lani Mariani, Lynne Schutte, Lukika Pelaez, and Robin (Terek) Iese; grandchildren, Noelani Mariani, Nainoa Ching, La’akea Ching, Kiana Ching, Kasen Schutte, Kamakana Schutte, Tatiana Tomas, Kauhi Tomas, Toni Tomas, Manaia Iese, Ioane Iese, Ni’o Iese, and Myson Pelaez; great grandchildren, Ka’eo Tomas, and Kaimana Holt; brother, Frank (Rose) Nichols; sister, Sandy (Glen) Newcomb; sisters-in-law, Mary Winchester, Gina Eckert, and Susan DeAngelo. She is predeceased by her son, George Ching.
Services will be held October 12, 2016 at Borthwick Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation will be at 10am followed by service at 11am.
Burial will be held on October 14, 2016 1pm at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
