Paul Howard "Pops" Moniz Sr., 64, of Ewa Beach, a trucking supervisor with MIRA Construction, died December 17, 2010 at Pali Momi Hospital in Aiea. He was born in Hilo. Survived by his wife, Judith; sons, Paul Jr., Roger Boyd, Eric Boyd Sr., Michael Gangloff, James and Darren Moniz; daughter, Pam Moniz; brother, James; sister, Rose "Chubby" Hose; 27 grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 p.m. Tuesday (12/28) at Borthwick Mortuary Maunakea Chapel; service 6:30 p.m.; Scattering of ashes at 4 mile 1/2 in Hilo on January 9, 2011 at 12 p.m. Aloha attire.
