Pete, a man of quiet strength, was known for his gentle voice, kind heart, and sharp mind. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he excelled in softball and volleyball, both in his youth and senior years. His passion for the game extended beyond playing; he was a devoted fan, cheering on the Hawaii Islanders at the legendary Honolulu Stadium, the WFL Hawaiians, and later, the University of Hawaii Warriors at Aloha Stadium, along with attending numerous Hula Bowls, NFL Pro Bowls, and preseason games. He also held a special place in his heart for the LA Lakers and LA Rams. In his later years, he remained a loyal supporter, watching his beloved UH Rainbow Warriors from the comfort of his home when he couldn't attend in person. Beyond sports, Pete was a talented musician, playing guitar and ukulele. A natural crooner, he serenaded his beloved Aurelia, who often accompanied him on the piano, filling their home with romantic melodies. Professionally, he was a skilled aircraft electrician and a dedicated patriot. But above all, Pete was a patient and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He embraced life with open arms, enjoying travel, dancing, and the satisfaction of fixing anything electrical or mechanical. His life was a testament to his gentle spirit, unwavering passion, and enduring love.
