Peter and Janke were such special people and were loved by SO many. They were great host and hostess to lots of friends when we visited Hawaii. Going to miss them both very much but know they are together in Heaven and very happy. I pray for their families as this has to be a very hard time for them.

Pete was a treasure-- one you wanted to lock up every now and then-- but still of great value. He was a big brother to me, always having his say but supporting me anyway. He had the conviction of his beliefs and acted on them. I would get a big hug, a foot massage, a listening ear and honest response which came from love and concern. His life of prayer was so real! He and Janke came when I needed them--more than once--and Pete called for months regularly to check in and to pray. He offered tangible, caring support and love.

But Pete was also good fun. He loved to play and goof around, could take a joke, and loved to eat. We often didn't agree on things, but it didn't make any difference in how much he cared. I could on Pete for just about anything. How many people can you say that about. I will really miss him; he was one of a kind! The phone would ring and I would hear, "Hey, girl!"

Scott and family:

Georgia and I were very saddened to hear of the passing of your mom and dad. They were good people and your dad especially had a very positive affect on my life. We are sorry that we cannot attend the services as we are on the mainland. Take care and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
