Rachael Rod Azcueta

On the night of February 2, 2021, Rachael R. Azcueta of Waimalu died at the age of 74.

She was born in Honolulu to Joe E. Rod and Gladys H.C. Amoy.

On June 27, 1998, Rachael married the love of her life, Rogelio “Roach” Azcueta. They were happily married for 20 years and now they are together again.

Rachael spent most of her life working at Times Supermarket and loved to spend her vacations in Las Vegas. She often spent weeks at a time there as she loved playing slots.

Rachael is survived by her 2 children, Tyron Nojima (Lori) and Jamielynn Estrada (Darryl); 4 grandchildren, Dylan, Kamuali’i, Nanea, and Alyssa Marcos (Jared); and 2 great-grandchildren, Braxtyn and Helele’ikauapilimekalehua.

A private service will be held on March 19, 2021. The public drive-by viewing will start at 12:30 p.m. and end promptly at 2:15 p.m. at Borthwick Mortuary, Mauka entrance.
