Rita Marie Tavernese, 87, working mom of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away August 7, 2016. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she is survived by her sons James Tavernese, Barry Tavernese, Frank Tavernese Jr., daughter Frances Tavernese-Powell, and brother Paul J Black Jr.. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
