He was born in Quirino, Isabela, Philippines.
Callangan was a retired Navy Interior Communications Electrician, First Class - Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard
He was involved in the Isabelaneos Of Hawaii Association and Co-Chairman of the Cagayan Valley Association.
He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth P.
sons, Michael and Jeffrey
brother, Emmanuel
sisters, Teresita Alcaraz, Remedios Chua, Salvacion Barnum, Lilia Syfu, Lourdes Villaluna, Annie Callangan
and a grandchild.
