I remember every evening making his one cup rice for his lunch the next day for work.   
I also remember going fishing with him.  He once said that he didn’t want to take me because I was the only one that caught any thing.  

Papa, 

Thank you for always being there for me, for stepping in when I needed a father-figure in my life. 
You always knew how to make everyone laugh. If someone said, “Hi!” To you, you’d say “not yet!” Throwing them off and making them think about what just happened. 😂🤣😂🤣
You’d ask, “How you feel?” And I’d say, “Good!” You’d come back and say, “you don’t feel with your hands?” 😂🤣
You also had a way of sweet talking us into making something for you, or bringing you something, “because we were so good at making water” or ice or bringing you a beer. 
You also had the heart of gold and hated to see your loved ones hurt. I remember when I had to give Kamalani his breathing treatment when he was a baby. Kamalani screamed and cried because he hated it. You got upset,  not because he was crying loud, but because you felt he was hurt. You told me to stop doing that to the boy! I told you that he needed it but you didn’t care, you didn’t like seeing him hurt and uncomfortable. 💙💙💙💙

I will continue to share your stories and share the laughter of your jokes.

Uncle Pablo... thank you so much for being such an inspiration in my life, you were an awesome role model and I am proud to say that I always admired & emulated your courageous and funny free spirited life.  I want to thank you & aunty Amber for allowing me to stay at your home during the summer times of my youth.  I truly treasured those moments and mostly, the very first time flying on a plane to the Big Island; It was such an awesome experience! From visiting the historical Queens Bath to swimming at Kona harbor, I will never forget! I am truly blessed to have you in my life and I pray that you are now rejoicing in heaven! But most of all, thank you uncle for blessing me by giving my name, Zenas.... love u❤️

Hey dad, I will always miss the days when I would just call you to say howzit. I would ask you what you doing, and your favorite line was talking to you. Thank You for all the memories, like night torching I always felt safe holding a lamp which consisted of fire and kerosene.Lol... I enjoyed those long talks with you while trucking to California with me and to see how amazed you were riding in a big rig. You will always be my hero!!

Papa Ron!! Man I miss you 😔but I know you’re still watching us everyday. Thanks for always scolding me when I would say “YEA” and not “YES”. Haha these days I’m teaching Ava and Ellie the same thing. I still have your trowel and margin tools that you gave me. I’m keeping my promise to you and cleaning them good after every use. I haven’t had much time to go fishing lately but as soon as I do I’ll be back on the water again. Come hang out with me ❤️. I love you Papa
