RUBY LEIALOHA WOOD, 104, of Honolulu, died December 29, 2011 at her residence. Born on July 19, 1907 in Honolulu. Retired teacher from Kalihi Waina Elementery School and Ala Wai Elementary School also a life time member of Daughter of Kaahumanu. Survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Wood, Sister Helene Wood and Alexis Kane; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 18) St. Patrick Catholic Church; Rosary, 10:30; Eulogy 11:00; Mass 11:15 a.m.; burial 12:45 p.m. Diamond Head Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
