The worship service was in Cantonese so there weren't many people, but it felt very warm.🫶🏼🥰

Siu Yan (Aunt Yani) was always nice to me. When I met her, she was living in her apartment in Honolulu.  This was probably 1985.   I fixed her television (not a big problem; the marine air had corroded a wiring connection).   She would take us out to lunch at the restaurant we will eat in at her service.   When she became disabled, Dagmar and I helped her move and sorted her belongings, encountered an official document noting her actual birthdate, which had been changed when she immigrated to get married.  She lived a long and loving life, bolstered by her strong faith in Christ.
