He was a graduate of McKinley High School and the Piano Hospital and Training Center in Vancouver, WA.
Stephen had a successful piano tuning business for over 40 years. He often said he was married to his music and was happiest when playing his piano and entertaining others.
Stephen is survived by his brother, Merlyn, close friends and numerous Kamanu and Frias family members.
Service will be on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019 at Borthwick Mortuary, Mauka Chapel. Private family visitation 9:30 - 10 a.m. Public visitation at 10 a.m. Service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 2 p.m. Aloha attire.
