Thanh is survived by wife, Loi Thi Thai; daughters, Lan Thu Do, Hue Thu Do, Debbie Do Iwashita and Jackie Do Segawa; Sons, Andy Thieu, Hung Thieu, Minh Thieu, Luan Thieu, Loc Thieu and Tom Thieu Do; 28 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 10:00a.m to 1:00p.m. at Borthwick Mortuary, Vineyard Chapel, 1330 Maunakea Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817. Burial will follow at 1:30p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, 47-200 Kahekili Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744.
