Thomas Owen McCrea, 67, of Waipahu, Hawaii, passed away on April 15, 2014 at the VA Community Living Center. He was born in Union City, Erie, Pennsylvania. Thomas served in the United States Navy and was an Electrician for the URS Corporation. He is survived by his wife, Annie McCrea; mother, Elizabeth Ilima Whitney; son, Travis McCrea; daughters Nicole McCrea, Mindi McCrea Henderson; granddaughter, Mia Henderson; sisters, Teresa Stempin, Mary Kumukau, Terry Calio, Bonny Bannister, Rose Whitney, Tammy Suzuki, Christine Whitney, Patricia McCrea Smith; and brothers, Dale McCrea and Rodney McCrea.
Funeral services will be held on May 3, 2014 at Borthwick Mortuary in the Mauka Chapel. Visitation will be at 3:30pm and service will begin at 4:30pm. Inurnment will be held on May 9, 2014 at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00am.
