Violet S. Himeda, 96, of Kaneohe, HI, peacefully passed away on May 30, 2026. Born in Pahoa, Hawaii, she was a retired secretary to the president for City Bank. She is survived by husband, Edgar Himeda; sons, Derek Himeda, Cleve Himeda, Mark Himeda, and Everett Himeda; brothers Ronald Nakao, Larry Nakao and Alvin Nakao; sisters Elaine Igarashi and Shirley Tamura; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Services at Borthwick Mortuary (Honolulu, Makai Chapel) on Friday, June 26, 2026. Visitation from 4:30 p.m., followed by service at 5:30 p.m.
