Violet Y. Van Epps, 93, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away on January 9, 2016. Born in Aukuni Kauai, she was a retired manager for the City and County Satellite City Hall in Kaneohe. Violet is survived by daughter: Faith Salas; son: Brian Goings; brothers: Henry, Robert, and Daniel Yotsuda; sisters: Kimiko Okano, Natsuko "Nancy" Pitts, Misue "Flora" Shota; 17 Grandchildren; 36 Great-grandchildren; and 1 Great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service for Violet Y. Van Epps will be held on February 12, 2016 at Borthwick Mortuary - Mauka Chapel located at: 1330 Maunakea Street, Honolulu, HI 96817. Visitation to begin at 8:30 am and Service at 10:00 am. Burial to be held at: National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at 1:00 pm.
