    Aloha Danny and God Bless. We were best friends since 7th grade and slowly grew apart when my family and I moved to Nevada in 92. I have a lot of fun memories with you and fond memories with your parents. (My second parents)  My deepest sympathies to your family. He was my friend with a kind heart, generous, and always willing to help a friend. I worked for him at Sand Island and I have many fond memories of him on the job and recreation off the job. He taught me pluming, saved my day many times by giving me the opportunity to better myself at UHHilo and to have a better future. Aloha Danny, my wife and I have lost a friend. Danny was a friend I knew since 1968 when the gang from Spinniker Isle, Hawaii Kai, would drop by his house. But, I got to know him better the last 4 years at Kilohana Church, where I attend functions. We shared similar trades.

My deepest sympathy to all of the La France Ohana. I knew Danny back during our skating days at Skateland in our early teens. We've been friends & brothers ever since. His parents and sister always treated me as part of their Ohana. May our Lord Bless all of you during this difficult time. Love you Danny and may God Bless.

Dan was special and our family was fortunate to have know him for many years.  He will always be remembered for his kind,thoughtful and generous ways. Dan always made time to talk, play with our dog and made people smile. Our sincere condolences to his family.

Very sorry to hear about Dan's passing, yet so glad to have known him all these years. Dan was a great guy with a big heart, who made helping people a way of life. We will surely miss his smiling face on Haleola Street. A fond aloha to Dan and sincere condolences to his family.
