

William Kalei Kukahiwa Naone Sr., age 87 passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021. William was born January 19, 1934 in Nanakuli, Oahu, Hawaii. Served in the US Army from 1951-1954 and fought for his country during the Korean War, where he was also injured in a bomb raid. He received the Korean Service Medal with to Bronze Service Stars, National Defense Service Medal, UN Service Medal and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge. After Military Service, was a construction superintendent for JA Thomason and Sons General Contractors, Delta Construction Company, R&R Construction, and an Instructor for Hawaii Laborers Training Program where he retired from. He is preceded by his wife, Helen (Uweloa) Naone and 11 siblings.
He is survived by his children, William Naone, Jr. (Fairlene Naone), Chad Naone (Gayle Naone), and Sarah Naone; and Grandchildren: Kaimi Naone, Marisa Naone, Rose Naone, Kayla Naone-Corpuz, Emma Naone, Bree Naone, Isaac Naone, and Drew Naone.
