that guided him throughout his life. He also discovered a lifelong love for music, singing as a soloist and in a quartet during his high school years.
Before graduating, Bill enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he proudly served for 21 years. During and after the Korean War, he transported wounded service members from Korea, Taiwan, and the Philippines to military hospitals in Texas, faithfully caring for those who had sacrificed for their country.
While stationed in Taiwan, Bill met the love of his life, Yuki. They were married in Taiwan and shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. After retiring from the Air Force, Bill continued serving veterans through the National Cemetery Administration, eventually becoming Assistant Director of the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl in Honolulu.
A devoted member of First Assembly of God, Bill especially loved singing in the church choir. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Yuki, Bill peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 19, 2026. Today, he rests beside Yuki at Punchbowl and rejoices in Heaven, singing his favorite hymns in the presence of the One he loved so dearly.
