Robert Z. Arakawa, 88, of Kalae, Molokai, passed away on August 7th at St. Francis Hospice Nuuanu. Robert was a Post Master for the Island of Molokai and was born in Kaupakalua, Maui. He is survived by his son, Bruce Arakawa; daughters, Laura Weeks and Janice Rogers; brother, Edmund "Shiro" Arakawa; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on August 29th at Borthwick Mortuary Mauka Chapel located at 1330 Maunakea Street in Honolulu. Visitation will begin at 3:30pm and service to start at 4:30pm.
Casual attire suggested.
Family requests no flowers.
