Born on November 25, 1926 in Buffalo, New York she was the daughter of the late Peter and Pelagia Bochnyski.
Mom was the Jill of all trades and loved spending her spare time sewing, cooking, knitting, stamping, and gardening.
She was dedicated member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and was involved in a number of activities, such as: making cards every first Wednesday, making over 100 preemie gowns and burial gowns for the local hospital, and taught kindergarten Catechism.
She was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society, Women of Charity, the Quilting Guild of Fayetteville, and 50 plus club at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
When she wasn’t participating in church activities, she was volunteering at battered women’s shelters and helping her community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Peter, Audrey Houser, and Raymond; three grandchildren, Michael, Marcy, and Dana; three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Brianna, and Emily; and brother, Leonard.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home and 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church Tuesday, October 15, 2013.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
