Allen served 13 years in the United States Army. He loved to golf and could often be found at Scothurst Golf Course in Lumber Bridge.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents Allen and Ruby Denton and a son Ed Denton. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Denton; his children, Connie Hutchison, Brenda Harris (Terry), Jackie Henry (Quinn), and Lee Phillips (Sharon); six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved dog "Little Man".
A memorial service will be held on Monday June 13, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the chapel at Reeves Funeral Home.
