Ana was preceded in death by her husband Ismael Lugo-Acosta, her father Carmelo Gonzalez, and her mother Ana Corretjer.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Annette (Daniel), Lissette (Gamalier), and Ismael; her grandchildren Annette Marie, Federico, Lorette, Joseph (Jessica), and Roberto Ismael; and her great-grandchildren Armando, Eduardo, Emma, Taylor, and Mila Rose.
Ana had may passions; she loved to exercise, walk, and dance, she was an expert domino player who never lost a match, and she loved to knit. She was also a very dedicated teacher who loved and helped her children and students, and she was a devout believer in God.
The family would like to thank Liberty Hospice, and especially all the personnel in Open Arms Retirement Center in Raeford, NC for taking such good care of Ana.
