I had known Ralph for so many years. He used to work on cars for my father when he was in high school. I would sit and watch him work. I could call him at any time over the years and he would make himself available to work on my old truck or work out in the hot sun all day to change an engine in my car. He was a good friend and will be missed. RIP This is from 40 years ago at the park.

Not a second goes by that I dont think about you daddy, I know your not cyber savvy; so you probably wont see this message until I get to heaven and show you..but I miss you alot, and your grand daughters keep talking about you. I miss you...I never told YOU, but I told everyone else that you taught me what a man should be!

I was his nextdoor neighbor for years & great friend to his Mom, Dott & proud to have his sister, Nicole call me “Mom”. My heart goes out to Christopher, his children, Nicole & her family & all the friends who loved Ralph.

My first wonderful memory was watching this quiet man work on his GTO every day, but seldom talk more than “hello”. Dott fed local cats & one had a litter of kittens in their carport. I came out one morning & there was Ralph on the concrete cuddling one of the babies & lovingly talking to the mommy cat. I knew from that day forward that there was a softie inside than man.

So many milestones we’ve gone through since the ‘80’s. Ralph was loyal to his son & to Nicole. He always looked out for them & took special interests that they were okay. I made a point to pop in & see him when I stopped in NC. He always told me how much his Mom loved our life-long friendship. I envision her welcoming him to Heaven & her showing him off.

Today I know he’s earning a pair of wings because he’s got some work to do. He’s going to make a great guardian Angel & change someone’s life. His family changed mine forever. I am so blessed because of it.

RIP, my friend & look for my beloved pets who have crossed over.

Ralph was a kind man who loved his family and his pets very much. He knew no strangers but always had a time for those he met along with a kind word. The world was a better place because of him. Rest in peace Ralph.
