Arthur David Fleming

Arthur was a Veteran of 23 years in the U.S. Army, having served in WWII, Korea, and the Vietnam wars. Upon retiring from the Army, Arthur was employed with Black and Decker for 20 years and in addition he volunteered for many years at the Sunshine Center delivering meals on wheels.

He is survived by is his wife of 66 years, Virginia D. Fleming, three children, Patricia F. Faircloth, Vickey F. Fulmer and spouse Robert Fulmer, Donald W. Fleming and spouse Katharina V. Fleming. 4 grandchildren, Eric McLamb, Jason Mclamb, Jennifer Owens and spouse Terrel Owens, and Ave’ Maria Fleming. 5 great-grandchildren, Dylan McLamb, Maegan & Emma Mclamb, Braxton & Brayden Owens.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 at Christus Victor Lutheran Church 1201 Hope Mills Rd. With funeral services to follow at 1pm at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials in Arthur's name to Christus Victor Lutheran Church.
