Arthur Raymond Hanson

Born December 24, 1941, died September 13, 2026 after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife Diann, his daughter Sherri and her husband Greg. He spent his early years in Chelsea, Massachusetts where his love of hockey and baseball grew. Later he joined the Navy and expanded his love to flying planes and golf. He and Diann were together for three days shy of 60 years and spent most of them in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a charter member of the “Red Fox” Golf Club of Huntington Golf Course. Many days were spent with Diann’s parents Floyd and Carley Hicks, either playing golf or visiting. His love of people made him a great salesman during his life.

Due to health conditions he and Diann had recently moved to Pinehurst, North Carolina to be near family. The family would like to thank David Hendricks, Shreveport, Louisiana for his help and support, and most recently the staff at Cardinal Care of Hope Mills, North Carolina for all their loving care.
